Peggy Morrison –Unici (Grandmother), her daughter and grandson Damian are blessed as we honor them. |
We honor the Inas and the Unici (mothers and grandmothers in the Lakota language).
We had a day of prayer for them and to honor them for being mothers and grandmothers. Many of the mothers brought their children and their grandchildren with them.

Tanya Blessing of Denver ministers to Nadine Red Cloud. |
We ministered to 45 women and 20 children. We fed them lunch and gave them bags full of gifts, plus laundry detergent, swifters, worship cd’s, chocolates, jewelry and various toiletries and personal items. The children received toys and played games while we ministered to the mothers.
Each woman was asked what her needs were and was prayed for individually. Many are hurting and there is a lot of illness on the reservation. They were so happy that we came and many shared how our monthly letters are blessing their lives. One lady named Florine Red Ear Horse, said to Helen, “You sent me a letter and I was so sick, but when I read your letter, I was healed. Thank you so much for writing us and keep on writing us; it is so encouraging to us.”
